Air Conditioning
Does the A/C blow only hot air from the vents? Does it blow cold sporadically? Are there loud noises when you run the A/C? Any of these symptoms may indicate the need for service or repairs to your vehicle's air conditioning system.

At Holmberg Automotive, we have certified technicians who will perform a professional inspection of the system, providing you with a complete analysis of the current conditions and the estimated repair cost.

Holmberg Automotive is a full-service air conditioning repair facility specializing in the following key services:

A/C Diagnostic and Repair
On a hot day, you want your car's A/C system to do one thing and that is to cool your vehicle's interior. If it doesn't, Holmberg Automotive can help. Whether your vehicle needs a simple recharge, or a new compressor, we have the expertise to diagnose and perform any A/C service. Our standard A/C Performance Check service includes the following:

Visually inspect A/C components
Run performance test including
System state of charge test
System control test
Perform leak test using approved electronic leak detector
If a slow leak cannot be detected, a dye detection service may need to be sold and performed.

A/C Retrofit
Many vehicles on the road today use an older variety of refrigerant called R12 or Freon. Due to stricter environmental laws, this product is no longer manufactured. While the current supply of R12 is dwindling, the price is climbing. Holmberg Automotive customers, however, have the option of converting to a new EPA-approved refrigerant called 134a. Most passenger vehicles manufactured after 1993 have the new 134a refrigerant.

Conversion to 134a is different for each vehicle, with many requiring the installation of a new compressor. At
Holmberg Automotive, we will provide an estimate for repair of the old system and an estimate to retrofit to 134a.
